We are back a little earlier than normal because of summer vacation...but we had a jam packed show all the same. Sona was back to lend a hand as we take how to brew up your very own janky deck. Lux was under the weather so friend of the show Chris stepped in admirably. We talked the Rules Change to death triggers in Commander, we went over previews for Core Set 2021, looked at Oath of the Gatewatch and Bruce shared his General Tazri brew. The show was jam packed.
We also wanted to include the following statement about the many #BlackLivesMatter protests going on in the United States:
On May 25th, 2020 George Floyd died while in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department. His death has sparked 2 weeks of protest across the United States, and the movement is spreading. We here at the Epic Experiment Podcast would like to express our support for the peaceful protesters that are out in the streets of almost every major city demonstrating that Black Lives Matter. We support the protestors that continue to exercise their right of assembly as they seek to make meaningful change. Tonight we are including a number of links in our show notes for links to a number of organizations that people can follow and connect with should they wish to get more involved. These are difficult times, and we are just one small voice, but we seek to do our part to help and say publicly that we stand behind the protesters because black lives do matter. Thank you.

This was a fun episode because the guys are all excited for Ikoria to FINALLY drop this Friday. They go through and hand out some fun awards that they called "the Luxies". These prestigious awards went for all sorts of fun categories including things like "best art on a card", and best "Death Metal band".
